For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given; and the government
will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful,
Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
What a joy it is to know that our God loves us so much! Almost two thousand years ago a child was born...but what made this child different was that He was a gift to all of humanity. He was not just a child being born to his earthly parents, He was the Son of our heavenly Father. And our Father gave His only Son for all mankind.
God so desired a family that He chose to sow a seed. Jesus said about Himself in John 12:24,
Most assuredly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the
ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much grain.
When Jesus died on the cross He bore and paid for every sin. And whoever would dare to believe this and confess with their mouth that He is Lord, they would be saved! Multitudes have done just that, and so the seed of our Saviour has become a harvest of the Family of God.
Think for a moment of the awesome implication...Jesus was born so that He may die! That is how much He loves us.
So, at the time of Christmas, and as we get ready to head into a New Year, let's remember to not be distracted by the commercialism and fantasies of the world. We are here to make a difference. And the Lord wants to continue demonstrating His love through you and me.
How does He do this? He shows how much He loves you in your life so that others can see it.
God loves you so much that He saved you. Not only did He save you, He gave you divine life, healing, provision, protection, prosperity. He has blessed you with every spiritual blessing. He has given you everything pertaining to life and godliness. He has indeed supplied your every need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
Receive it today. Remember Romans 5:17,
For if by the one man's offense death reigned through the one, much more
those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness
will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.
It is yours! Receive it today...and when others comment on how blessed you are, you can tell them that our God loves them too. I believe that we are going to see God's divine love manifesting in greater and greater measures and His divine life flooding through yours.
As you sow your seed this month, make this bold confession, "Father, I receive your abundance of Grace. I receive your divine love. Your divine life is flooding my life. I live in divine life, healing, provision, protection and prosperity. Thank you, Lord."
We are excited about this New Year and we will continue to preach the Gospel of Jesus far and wide, and it is such a joy to know that we are doing it together as the body of Christ.
We love you dearly and continue to pray for you every day.
